What is Ansys SpaceClaim?

SpaceClaim Engineer is a 3D Direct Modeling software which allows engineers to work with CAD data from any source, regardless of origin. SpaceClaim is used in a number of applications including concept modeling, bid modeling, 2D to 3D transition, manufacturing, reverse engineering, sheet metal manufacturing and model prep.

Depending on the use case and your requirement it varies software to software and variant to variant but its a popular software with more features

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

speedy results and versatility is my favorite aspect of this product. it is very easy to use with even complex models to be simulated and designed.

What do you dislike most about this product?

a lot of features sometimes confuses and make it difficult to use, but a lot to explore in this software majorly depends on the requirement

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

have a proper training before you start over working with this software this will make it easy and fast for you.

What differentiates Ansys SpaceClaim from other similar products?

Ansys spaceclaim helps me to create, edit and repair geometries to prepare them for structural and computational simulations.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It helps me to simplify my 3d models of components and assemblies to reduce simulation time and help me get faster results.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I really find this software very helpful in my regular work and do not find any dislikes into it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are searching a software to create and repair your 3d models for various analytical simulations then Ansys Spaceclaim is the right one for you.

What differentiates Ansys SpaceClaim from other similar products?

SpaceClaim uses the ACIS kernel.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

SpaceClaim enables 3D conceptual design by anyone and encourages enhanced innovation and cooperation because it is simple to learn and use, affordable, and incredibly accurate.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Meshing is only limited upto 512000 elements for fluent(CFD) and 32000 for structural analysis

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely go for it, It is one of the best Software in industry
