What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

Trust and availability, two features that stand out for this Amazon product

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I can easily scale instances to support my applications and scale down when the load is low. Easily integrates with load balancers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Very very pricey if its not handled well. It needs a person to be certified in order to deal with the cloud environment from amazon.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have money and want a trusted available product servicing your applications, you can go for this product without thinking.
