Clear insights from messy data

What differentiates Alteryx from other similar products?
It has made it so easy to schedule workflows and prepare them to run on their own. It also lets us reuse our existing workflows and saves us a lot of effort. I can pull data from databases, spreadsheets, and APIs in no time. Our analytics teams get cleaner and more reliable data than before.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like using it daily to clean and prepare the data before it's all set to go into our analytics pipelines. I also use it a lot to join data from multiple systems without having to worry about the formatting issues. Along with this, I like having power over previewing the results of every step taken by my team on the workflows.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I didn't come across any aspect to talk negatively about, as I find the system the most reliable and productive one in the data preparation industry.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I strongly recommend this platform, as it can bring efficiency, flexibility, and consistency in preparing your data for analytics.

What differentiates Alteryx from other similar products?
Observably, they have a clearer and more transparent workflows that make processes easy to audit, debug and share. Workflows can also be reused, scheduled and scaled especially with Alteryx Server
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I so love the ability to visually build complex data workflows without writing code or low code. Also the drag and drops interface speed up development while still giving you full control.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The licensing model is a barrier especially when consulting for smaller teams or organization with many occasional users. I also think collaboration can be improved upon allowing for real-time co-authoring, better version control.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Start with a well designed use case. take full advantage of the alteryx community and free learning resources. don't underestimate the learn curve
