A very Useful Tool for Print and Digital Products

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Adobe InDesign from other similar products?

Adobe InDesign works well instead of Adobe Illustrator in terms of creating multi-pages. You can create a master page function that allows you to edit and customize all the pages at once.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

First of all, Adobe InDesign is very easy to learn because it is almost the same as Adobe Illustrator. Same Controls and same shortcuts. We can easily create some printing stuff like Business Cards, Brochures, reports, and magazines. Master pages function work very amazingly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Ahm... Nothing much to dislike just the regular updates which I think are all of Adobe's Products on the list in terms of updates that cause you storage issues and slow performance.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you know Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, then Learning Adobe InDesign will add a Plus Point to your productivity. So yeah, Learning Adobe InDesign really worth it.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity

Great for layouts!

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Adobe InDesign from other similar products?

Adobe InDesign is unique in that it is tailored to any kind of publication layout. Essentially, all its features are catered towards being able to quickly and efficiently layout templates and other documents (especially ones for print). It shines because of its integration with other Adobe products, such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Typekit.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of the product is the number of guides that InDesign offers. All items snap flawlessly in place, so there isn't any question about whether an object is aligned or not. InDesign also offers a lot of capabilities for type, allowing me to fine-tune paragraphs and even kern headline letters.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The one thing I dislike about InDesign is how its keyboard shortcuts differ from other Adobe programs. Certain shortcuts in InDesign will do different things when I do them in other programs. This makes it hard to adapt when quickly switching from one program to another.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend you take a serious look at Adobe if you're looking to streamline the way you design layouts. While other programs can get the job done, InDesign has the full range of tools to make publications quickly and thoroughly. If you're looking for software to design logos or edit photos, this is not the program for you.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
