Publication game-changer!

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Adobe InDesign from other similar products?

It seamlessly integrates with other Adobe software including Photoshop and InDesign. The full suite is essential for the graphic design industry. There are plenty of tutorials available to master the software. It is widely accredited and second ti nine.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The master page asset is essential for the creative process. It allows macro changes to be made and extrapolated across all pages, which makes editing simple and efficient.

What do you dislike most about this product?

InDesign is not for the faint of heart. It requires a consensus among all users for its use, and when people are trained differently, they approach the tools differently which is not always efficient since there are multiple ways to do the same thing. The learning curve is pretty stiff.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Watch tutorials beforehand.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Inspires Innovation
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable

What differentiates Adobe InDesign from other similar products?

The most important feature is the implemetation with the other software of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. you can work at the same time the Photoshop and illustrator.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There are so many ways to automate, share work and create many kinds of documents and books. I enjoy the ability to use styles to easily format the documents. You have no restrictions with InDesign when it comes to visuals and stuff to print or distribute. Here are the things I love about InDesign: Customization, Styles, File Compatibility, Book Feature and Master Pages, Combining Text with Images with Ease, Tutorials that are available!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Here are things I'm not a huge fan of with InDesign: It's expensive, not user-friendly if you're unfamiliar with Adobe products, when fonts or linked images go missing, formatting tables are a pain, etc.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'm making publications very easy to design. I am making complex data more presentable—very user friendly software. I have realized that InDesign can be used for design and web apart from print documents.
