What differentiates Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud from other similar products?

From my experience using this tool, I feel like it provides benefits that are unique to this solution, and benefits that you see long-term. Data privacy and customer data are one of the most important things that a business has to take care of, and knowing that Acronis Cyber Protect gives us tools to protect our devices and back up all this data gives me peace of mind. It has helped us avoid losing deals thanks to corrupted files or devices, since all the backups are done automatically we have been able to recover important information, and it has heavily minimized security issues.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is a software that consolidates multiple functions aimed towards cybersecurity and data protection, and the way it integrates everything into one place simplifies the process of going through antivirus, patch management and malware scanning, since it's all unified and saves a lot of time and complexity. Specifically, I think that the feature I enjoy the most is the cloud backup tool, since it's something that needs to be completed frequently in our devices and shared drives, and it has helped us multiple times in recovering critical files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

With this tool, it is imperative that you implement it with a team that has a technical background in cybersecurity. If you're not familiar yourself, it can be difficult to set it up as it is not the most user-friendly platform, and I personally rely heavily on IT to manage the tool. Besides that, I have also experienced some performance issues with the software, as sometimes it will lag during a scheduled backup and it affects the general usability of the tool, and the mobile app also feels very limited and not suited for full management.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My first advice is to work closely with your IT team during onboarding, as the initial setup can take a long time, and patch scheduling and backup plans are things that need to be carefully done in order to have a positive impact in your general experience using the software. The defaults rarely work properly as each organization has different needs, so I would advise customizing everything as much as possible to cater to your needs.
