What differentiates Sophos Intercept X Endpoint from other similar products?

In terms of usage restrictions, Sophos has never failed to meet my organization's needs. Among similar solutions, Sophos offers one of the greatest levels of protection. Protecting my consumers from ransomware, malware, and zero-day attacks, among other things. It completely satisfied me. It was a fantastic tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Sophos Intercept X's onboarding and deployment were simple. The web administration interface is simple to use and provides quick access to our environment's events. The user interface of the reporting service is excellent, and it allows for in-depth network traffic data examination. Due to Sophos, we are always aware of every member's activities.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Scanning might cause a machine to slow down significantly. We've started buying more powerful machines just for this purpose, and we've had to disable it on developer computers when they're generating code since it slows them down considerably.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Because these security suites are tightly integrated, you can track and detect problems throughout your whole infrastructure. Root cause analysis is a useful tool that can track an infection back to the email it was sent from and shows what the malware changed and how it spread.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Sophos Intercept X is simple to use. We must tailor it for our environment, just like any other endpoint security solution. But once it's in place, all we have to do now is manage it on a regular basis and keep it running smoothly. We practice what we preach because that is what we do for our customers. We still have a lot of control over the security solutions we use and how they work with our endpoints.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When we try to run Sophos after resetting our systems, it takes far longer than it should. As a result, it may take some time to open the tabs or the home screen the first time we use the system after a restart. Our workflow is disrupted.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It has fantastic customer service, both on the web and in the cloud, and they reply quickly to our questions and concerns. If you're on the fence about switching service providers, I recommend testing out the cloud portal's free edition, which works just as well as the commercial one.

Sophos Intercept X can have heartbeat communication with your NGFW (Sophos XGS Firewall) to have a lateral movement protection to your whole network included remote sites.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Sophos Intercept X provides an in depth view of your whole network through XDR and integration with your Sophos XGS Firewall. It sends heartbeat message from your endpoint to the firewall and if monitored inactive, not compliant or with a malware it goes on a red state and isolates itself in the network.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Lack of disk utilization configuration and MAC addresses of the endpoints are not available
