A Great Distribution Center Cloud WMS Product
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud from other similar products?
Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud easily interfaces with the Oracle Cloud Applications and can also integrate with the On-Premise EBS application. It's the ability to automate and allow for the manual building of outbound shipments stands out. Rules are simple to configure and easy to apply on an item level.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Easy to use zone assignments that allow for locators and warehouse configurations to easily update and change as the Product mix evolves in the warehouse.
What do you dislike most about this product?
This product is designed to handle multi-channel Level 3-5 Warehouse distribution centers. If you're looking for a WMS that can help you transition from a level 1 to a level 2 warehouse, this is not your tool. If you are managing raw materials for use in manufacturing, it'll take some finessing for this tool to be the one for you. Oracle is working on improving these features, but they are not fully mature as of 21A.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure you have a game plan and fully understand how product flows through your warehouse. Also, you need to make sure that you understand how you want the product to flow once you are live with the tool. Knowing what you want will go a long way in properly configuring the tool and your process for the successful use of the software.
Pros
- Effective Service
- Caring
- Saves Time
- Respectful
