What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
Well established service and brand that is generally very stable and integrates well with those who are O365 users as integrates well and seamlessly, particularly the search across office services!
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The document management and change history is very useful especially when you have accidentally saved over copies incorrectly, the search allows you to identify previous documents that you thought you had lost!
What do you dislike most about this product?
Microsoft's has very frequent updates and changes to SharePoint's interface can lead to a disjointed user experience, causing frustration and confusion. As a commercially focused individual, I value consistency and stability in the tools I use whilst on a whole its not an issue, I do need to remark on the few times it has been an issue!
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
While its complexity and integration issues can be frustrating, its centralised document management, powerful search functionality, and integration with the Microsoft ecosystem make it a valuable tool for commercially focused individuals working in software companies. Highly recommend keeping on top of your organisation!
