How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

What differentiates Daylite from other similar products?
Free to use as simply or as detailed as yo uwant
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Summary page. All on one page
What do you dislike most about this product?
Difficult for additional personalisation (quite a lot existing already though)
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Think about what you need first. Look at what it can offer. Then consider. Other CRM sytems are a lot more detailed, but take more time to complete (therefore not completed) and required too many clicks. Daylite is easy and quick.

What differentiates Daylite from other similar products?
It’s one of the only Mac-based CRM products available, and as such they rest on their laurels and the developmental roadmap is completely stagnant. It’s missing so many essential features like natural language composition for new events/appointments, (eg. "Lunch with Harry G. at The Diner on Tuesday”).
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The Opportunities and Projects modules are actually a great idea, but their integration with the rest of the objects in the database is an appalling oversight.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The fact that I can’t ‘Create New Opportunity from Meeting’ and have it pass all the linked items from the meeting to populate the data in the Opportunity is still vexing. It takes FAR TOO MANY clicks to create new objects; the Appointment creation interface is not organized logically, and input fields are scattered about in no sensible or meaningful way. It requires a dedicated LOCAL (ie: in your office or home) computer to manage syncing the data across devices, so it’s not really a truly cloud-based app. The mobile interface is not useful, and the desktop interface is stale & firmly rooted in the late 90’s.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
In a word: Don’t. There’s far better options available, although nothing is perfect. Marketcircle’s pace of development and upkeep is glacial at best. I’ve been using Daylite since 2013, and I’m pretty much done with it now. It just hasn’t kept pace with even the most basic calendar programs like BusyCal or Fantastical, or many other newcomers out there. I don’t believe they have the bench strength to keep up, much less compete, but then they don’t really have to compete since there aren’t any other Mac-dedicated CRM platforms (that I know of).
Pros
- Trustworthy
- Respectful
- Acts with Integrity
- Efficient Service
Cons
- Inhibits Innovation
- Slower Product Innovation
- Less Productive
