Elevating Cybersecurity

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) from other similar products?

Cisco Vulnerability Management makes use of predictive analytics, in contrast to many solutions of a similar nature that are exclusively concerned with discovering current vulnerabilities. This indicates that it evaluates existing vulnerabilities as well as foresees new threats based on past patterns and data. The platform uses a score system to rank vulnerabilities, assisting security teams in prioritizing their work and tackling the most pressing problems first. This guarantees that resources are deployed where they are most required, lowering the total risk to the firm.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like how easy-to-use Cisco Vulnerability Management is. Security teams can easily access and make use of all of its capabilities because of its simplicity and efficiency in design. This usability accelerates the vulnerability management process. The platform's interaction with Cisco's extensive security ecosystem is another key benefit. It enables seamless interaction between various security measures, resulting in more thorough and well-coordinated protection against online threats.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A reliable solution is Cisco Vulnerability Management. But strengthening its capacity to discover, prioritize, and repair vulnerabilities efficiently will strengthen its ability to support a wider range of third-party security products, improving its overall cybersecurity posture.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Its predictive capabilities and risk-based prioritization enable a proactive approach to vulnerability management. This aids in lowering the attack surface and guarantees that the most serious vulnerabilities are fixed right away. To improve our company's cybersecurity strategy, I've used Cisco Vulnerability Management. We were made aware of possible vulnerabilities by the platform's predictive analytics before they could be taken advantage of, enabling us to take preventative action. As a result, the number of security incidents was greatly reduced, and our overall security posture was improved.

What differentiates Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) from other similar products?

Cisco Vulnerability Management gives our team threat vulnerability detection, prioritization, tracking, and even recommended steps to remediation. It is easy to use as you can filter your requirements with queries.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Cisco Vulnerability Management helps us quickly identify and fix the most serious security vulnerabilities affecting our platform, providing a summary of vulnerabilities as well as the possible fixes for your assets, by regularly updating the vulnerable VMs and also the vulnerability those VMs have, this helps us the most as we don't need to spend extra time in figuring that out ourself.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Search, asset filtration, tooltips can help understand new users who have no prior background in vulnerability identification & removal, also, some reviews to general purpose options need correction.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We don't want to imagine life without it, our job has exponentially improved because of this implementation, and you won't regret using it once you get it running.
