What is Ansys SpaceClaim?

SpaceClaim Engineer is a 3D Direct Modeling software which allows engineers to work with CAD data from any source, regardless of origin. SpaceClaim is used in a number of applications including concept modeling, bid modeling, 2D to 3D transition, manufacturing, reverse engineering, sheet metal manufacturing and model prep.

New generation ui and cad editing tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Addetive manufacturing

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some feature which user use to from old cad software is missing in software default version but after customization it's works well.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Next generation CAD modeling software. Easy to customize CAD, but you need to learn first for advanced features. Then you can work on those features easily, and once you learn, you will really enjoy it.

It having ease of doing direct 3d modelling capabilities and it having faster and user interface is must understandable .

What differentiates Ansys SpaceClaim from other similar products?

SpaceClaim's direct modeling technology permits design changes to be made quickly and intuitively, without having to follow the order of operations, which makes it easier.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

SpaceClaim includes meshing capabilities, allowing users to generate meshes on geometries before importing them into ANSYS Mechanical for solver simulation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has limitation in mesh generation. Required lots of Processing power to run analysis. Cost issue. Its higher

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Though its a bit costlier but it has lots of updated feature related to designing and meshing rather than other software.
