What differentiates Acquia DAM (Widen Collective) from other similar products?
Widen Collective organizes and shares a massive collection of pictures, scans, and other digital assets with a broad user base. It enables us to locate and utilize our assets more quickly and easily. Widen Collective is an amazing platform for managing your company's content for better product visualization, and it is comparable to the Brankmaker platform in that both are dedicated to the planning and development of operations that allow you to produce outstanding marketing using its capabilities. collaboration, which provides multi-channel marketing and product promotion in various media such as social networks
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's a strong system with several role and permission constraints. It works effectively with single sign-on and was very simple to teach users with varying technical backgrounds. One of its positive features is that it assists each company in identifying and creating a personalized brand of said product; it also allows us to give volume to said product through the layout, assisting in the distribution and management of each campaign and it assists us in managing each idea to make a report of each strategy to give an analysis and see if it meets the requirements for integration in social networks.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Overall, it's not an attractive interface, even after some markings. Many security features and permissions are difficult to disable when not needed. In addition, it is a platform that provides enterprises with the tools they need to plan good product promotions and can be implemented by medium and large marketing-focused enterprises.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's a robust system with fine-grained control over rights, metadata, and file uploads and downloads. It is an excellent management tool, particularly for bigger enterprises with complicated functionality and use requirements. We suggest this product for the vast range of tools that assist us in disseminating our company's or product's brand so that it is well visualized by people and reaches potential buyers.
Pros

An effective, productive management tool

What differentiates Acquia DAM (Widen Collective) from other similar products?
Widen is a new content operations management tool for sales management. This cloud-based software is the best part of our customers' days, as they say. Moreover, it facilitates creative workflow and aids brand and video management—excellent management throughout onboarding and training, ongoing support, and a committed local experience manager.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The university and support sections are wonderful, and the support team is always highly effective. However, the most significant aspect of customer care is the extremely large quantity of support documentation and content offered. I enjoy the ability to load batches of metadata from IPTC picture metadata and allocate it to our specific regions. Batch features for loads, metadata, etc. It works exceptionally well. I also enjoy using different approaches to share things I've picked—creating as many private collections as desired.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We don't always have enough time to understand and apply new functions because the application is changed too frequently. But it is excellent that Widen makes improvements to stay ahead of competing for software solutions. Putting it out there, we believe that there are still some flaws that prevent us from calling Widen the best answer among the analogs, even though the level of satisfaction from working with it is very near to the maximum.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Simplicity in execution. System administration is simple. User training is simple. We now have a space where everything is organized correctly, we can keep everything in one location, and all employees, even those without any previous DAM expertise, can easily access assets and metadata. We believe their functionality is fantastic and only speaks favorably for itself.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy

It is the best DAM option for almost any client.

What differentiates Acquia DAM (Widen Collective) from other similar products?
Widen can handle any form of file, once the information has been entered, it is simple to enter and search. External clients like having us take product photographs for their websites, and we appreciate having the proper professionally taken images. The most significant advantage of a DAM is having a single source of truth that all users can access for a variety of requirements, from PIM to eCommerce to marketing. There are several methods to view, download, connect to, and distribute material. The key advantages are brand consistency, time savings, and granular control over information and permissions.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
They are always at the forefront of adopting new technologies and their product roadmap is transparent. They also remain by far the best customer service and support provider in the DAM industry. The interface is intuitive and is kept aesthetically and functionally updated. Widen listens to users and adjusts its product as needed. Portals allow the creation of small basic websites with a subset of assets. This is really useful for users who don't need access to the full site or will only visit it occasionally.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There's not much to hate about the Widen product. Some customers may like greater UI customization, but I believe they hit the ideal combination of functionality and straightforward usage. There may be too many administrative controls. Fortunately, they walk you through them at onboarding and are always there to help if you need a reminder. The onboarding process was a little slow at initially, but he was coming from an established DAM and understood exactly what he wanted.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Any firm contemplating acquiring a DAM system should always consider Widen. The assistance options available here are fantastic. They care about their users' success and develop creative ways to assure it.
