To ensure that new or revised HR policies have been read and understood by employees, obtain a policy receipt acknowledgement from them. Use the Policy Receipt Acknowledgement Template to:
- Ensure employees have read and understood policies.
- Avoid the risk of employees claiming that their violations were due to policy ignorance.
This acknowledgement can be attached to the end of a set of policies and signed by new hires, it can be signed annually by all employees, or it can be attached to the end of an individual policy that has been revised.
