Pendo, it solves our usecase

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?

It is used primarily within the Customer Success teams and Sales teams, but our product folks do have access to it as well. It has been used to measure our clients' usage of our tool so it is integrated with the events from our dashboard and displayed within Pendo. We are able to pull usage stats and download them to send to clients so we can best measure that the tool is being utilized.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As we made a migration from a Java-based administration console to a web-based one, we needed a way to track how our users would interact with the site so that we could instill continuous improvement on the site. We evaluated many companies but chose Pendo.io in the end to serve our needs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing at all it really solved most of our problems.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Pros Fast setup. just a simple script and the platform start tracking data. Easy to build reports. Great onboarding experience, we good support from Pendo.io team. Cons To have out of the box dashboard built. Feature to have the opportunity to understand trends on future actions. Keep improving their script to track visitors to be able to track more data with less help from developers.

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?

The combination of "Insights" (data), "Guidance" (in app tooltips and guides), and Voice of the Customer (Feedback product) allow us to cover a lot of bases and conveniently use the same tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The Guide builder is easy to use and help us build in-product content that looks great, even without the help of a designer!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Difficulty with data and tracking for our mobile apps.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do your homework for onboarding to get everything out of it (help with first actions, flows, best practices, etc.) Get involved in the customer community and use the help center.
