What differentiates Infobip from other similar products?
The main difference only on the templates integrations and controls AFAIK. they do provide PIC for the team to talk to easily on day to day basis with good and responsive supports. The product itself still have manual transactions going on so I think they can do improvement on that part.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Easy to use API for massive broadcast. Throttling and bulk sending handled well. The vendor will inform before any outage happen as small as 3 minutes outage.
What do you dislike most about this product?
International gateway often have some outages. So sometimes we have to switch to lower performance regional ones.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Prepare your system to switch between international api endpoint to regional ones easily. Since it will be needed occasionally. Ensure you have alerting mechanism in place. They don't provide sandbox so you will need to implement you own version of sandbox. Manage sending bulk message well, since it will directly translate to cost.
