How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
To my knowledge, Gong is the only tool capable of automatically recording, transcribing, tracking, and analyzing every sales call.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
By recording every call, I never have to worry about taking notes, and I can easily share clips or entire calls with colleagues for collaboration purposes. Occasionally, I share call recordings with prospects so they can share with stakeholders who weren't able to join.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The transcriptions are far from perfect, though I'm sure that will continue to improve.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I'd love to see a "demo" call category and to adjust the analytics for those types of calls. Obviously, a platform demo should still be interactive in order to keep prospects engaged, but these calls won't typically feature as much prospect input as a discovery call, for example. Best practices are surely different for different types of calls. It would be great to be able to optionally select the call category (disco, demo, negotiation, etc.) for stronger insights.

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
Their level of support, scorecards, and the breadth of features to help track what is most important to your specific role when it comes to sales & customer success.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The trackers you can implement to get notified when your AEs and Customer Success Team and/or customers/prospects are talking about specific features, competitors, and/or integrations.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Their reporting & analytics. I feel they could put more work in developing a solid dashboard and downloadable PDFs or shareable dashboards on individual sales reps and their qualities. It would be amazing to be able to see win/loss analysis straight from gong.io with information integrated from Salesforce & HubSpot. I find their reporting to be a bit more manual than I imagined.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend you consider the number of licenses needed so that other teams in the org (aside Sales & CS) can utilize to get the most benefit. We have our Product Marketing Managers and Product organization use Gong to keep track of how our customers/prospects speak about our competitors, what they want from our platform, etc. It's great for the Product Marketers to be able to track the messaging, positioning, and competitive defense statements they equip the sales org to see if they're truly adopting the process. I would also recommend you research Gong's competitors and go through a full sales cycle with both to see which one fits best

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
Gong is the leader in their industry. I had a friend that worked at a competitor and she told me that gong was way better.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
send recorded calls after to client
What do you dislike most about this product?
I dont like that the company is political, ie woke politics. These things tend to discriminate against a large 50% of the population.
