The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.

Feature-rich & getting better, but support lagging

What differentiates Salsify from other similar products?
Over time, other products have (seemingly) added many of the things Salsify does well. One continued differentiator though is the ability to use computed properties. We use these very regularly. Also, the ease of filtering products using categories and attributes has seemed much easier in Salsify than other products.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Salsify is the ability to sort through large amounts of product data quickly and the ease of sharing the required level of information with different stakeholders (internal and external).
What do you dislike most about this product?
We were an early adopter and support has degraded over time. Many features have been added, but the technical details of the improvements are not generally understood by first level support.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Budget for more features than you think you need. Dedicate time to teaching your whole team how to use it and use the APIs to tie the data in Salsify into whatever other systems you are using for ERP. Salsify is much more valuable when you have a developer on staff to more fully utilize its many capabilities.

Easy to use, easy to integrate with!

What differentiates Salsify from other similar products?
I think how easy it is to work with its API makes it stand out among other PIM systems.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like how easy it is to create new product feeds and configure what products should be in the feed file.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The one dislike I have about the company is. I wish they would a better way to handle brands who run multi-store view websites. I understand they are building a direct connection with the Adobe commerce platform. However from their documentation it seems like if you run multiple regions with each region having a slightly different sku data. They would require completely separate connection/integrations which also result in separate integration charges and projects needing to be ordered. I would suggest take into account that many manufactures run multi brand stores all from one platform install and consider pricing per server instance.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend checking out a demo of this platform. It defiantly is a very easy platform to work with and to custom build an integration for.
