What differentiates Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud from other similar products?

Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud has allowed me to place all orders through a centralized portal with full real-time visibility. Both ourselves and our suppliers can track shipments, inventory levels, and invoices without manual updates. This process automation level reduces errors and friction. The shared transaction record synchronizes all parties.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As a purchasing planner, I coordinate with many internal and external stakeholders. Connecting the Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud to our procurement processes has been transformative. The platform allows me to create orders with all the necessary information already filled in, such as product details, pricing agreements, delivery addresses, and purchase order numbers. Vendors can then use supplier portals to check the status of their orders, confirm receipts, and provide shipping notices directly to us.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Interconnecting our procurement systems through the B2B Commerce Cloud yielded measurable efficiency gains. Integrating approvals would further optimize spending, although budgets are currently managed separately. If your organization is looking to digitize its purchasing process, I highly recommend considering the B2B Commerce Cloud. It provides seamless end-to-end process visibility and control.

Allow greater flexibility in customizing the shopping experience. Facilitate integration with other e-commerce tools and platforms.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can be expensive both in terms of licensing and implementation and customization costs. It can be complicated to implement and configure. Being integrated with Salesforce CRM, the platform could be overly dependent on this tool.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Despite offering customization, it may have limitations compared to other more flexible platforms. It may take time to get familiar with the platform and get the most out of its features.
