What differentiates Plytix from other similar products?

The simplicity and ease of use. It is a great introduction to a PIM system and scales up with you as you grow and get more familiar with the software. The additon of the DAM was a huge selling point for us and is used daily by staff and customers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Being able to hold all product information in the same place - product spec, descriptions and assets.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are a few elements we would like to be able to customise more, but this is due to the vast array of products we sell.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Sometimes simple is better! Plytix has everything to offer if you input the correct information and it really will change the way you work.

What differentiates Plytix from other similar products?

In my opinion, Plytix's most strongest attribute is the continuous development and optimization of the tool. This of course is linked directly with Plytix-Team. The Product and the Team together are unique. Such a great support with a growing knowledge about the productmanagement ecosystem.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is very easy to learn, it is intuitive. The only thing you have to bring with you, is understanding of your own product, so you can customize Plytix depending on the nature of your product you are trying to sell/present online or wherever.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only thing i dislike about the product is: nothing. If something bugs you, it's probably already taken care of.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

A have 2 recommendations: - Now your own product (you should understand your own product first, because Plytix is made to be product-customized). - If you are going to feed (export the data) your Website with it, be sure that your Website-Agent can work with Data-Feeds (export data), or let them take a sneek-peak of your data and how it is exported.

What differentiates Plytix from other similar products?

I trialed three PIMS providers roughly four years ago. The first was unnecessarily complicated, another was impressive but incredibly expensive once we were eventually given the cost (after 2 weeks of asking). The third was Plytix. It seemed to be the ideal fit, seemingly in its early stages and brutally honest about where they were and where they intended on taking the system. It was also just 2-3% of the annual cost we were given from the other PIMS provider at the time. I can honestly say whilst our business requirements from a PIMS has increased over the years, Plytix's growth and improvements have matched it 100%

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It was E-Catalogues for the last couple of years which massively improved our internal and external presentation and distribution of our digital data. We are now creating a new website relying on the Channels function however, which if it continues to work as well as it currently is, would quickly become my favourite aspect!

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have several attributes in the system which are now outdated and could do with being removed. I don't have the time however to manually remove them from the catalogues, lists, etc. which they've been used in over the years. A message along the lines of 'this attribute is being used in..... are you sure you'd like to remove it?' would be very much preferred.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Plytix provide a portal which gives an easy overview of their future plans for the projects and allow for us to make well received recommendations. I'd suggest that people look at this portal alongside the current capabilities of the system as there have been some serious game changing implementations over the years which altered the way we went about managing our data for the better.
