What differentiates New Relic from other similar products?

Before new relic we used to depend upon free and some paid analytics tool to track our application deployed Live . But when we opted New relic and it became operational we used it various ways - mainly in tracking mobile applications performance which comprises of both iOS and Android - to keep a track of percentage usage - to check analytics - user demographics overview - user demographic details - Platform wise share, in checking which platform (Android , iOS ) user is using our mobile (Mobile and Tablets) application more - Check realtime data

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Different kind of reports which we can take from it and share with stakeholders / clients / customers - We have customized filters , using which we can pull desired reports . - Have great track of mobile application in live and everything is recorded in it

What do you dislike most about this product?

As far as I am aware of this product er shouldn't have any concerns with its working model. Because it is serving us in best possible manner

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

- New relic is a expensive affair, start with any free version tool once you are familiar with that , you will automatically face challenges . Collect all the challenges and approach New relic support team and get all your doubts clarified . Explore new relic and check if it is feasible for your product. If yes go for it. Please do not jump, buy and start using it, as it is a expensive tool. Explore your product and make notes of your requirements and challenges . This will surely help you not only in buying New relic but any product for that matter .

What differentiates New Relic from other similar products?

- As mobile application tester we face many challenges while testing any of the mobile applications. For example , a crash tester unable to reproduce , a crash report he unable to generate, want to view the application usage (analytics). For all such problems New Relic stands as solution and helps developers , testers as well as managers. - The kind of filters it gives us access too in extracting or viewing the right data. I think no other product has ever shown such high class

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

For developer:- All the crashes are registered here , when a tester shares the link of this , he can easily fix the problem which helps in saving great time for both tester and developer. For testers: Testers can benefit a lot and learn many things from it . Usually testers come across different crashes some they can take the logs. But for some of them its highly impossible to find/reproduce. During his case we can simply login into APM and grab the logs . For managers :- Viewing the usage data (geographically) using different filters they can analyze the product future and can take right decisions

What do you dislike most about this product?

New relic is a expensive , not everyone will show interest and buy it

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are a startup and have a funding to your project, then go for it and if you are a mid size company and deals with mobile application development , testing and maintenance and can afford then please go for it. Its very much easy to use New relic APM and its features are very helpful.
