Excellent business intelligence tool.

What differentiates MicroStrategy One Platform from other similar products?
Simple system integration from several data sources, prototype example reports and dashboards quickly and simply utilizing corporate data in a modern style. The most difficult challenge I've handled using MicroStrategy is detecting patterns that aren't visible in traditional data analysis, the flexibility to flip and convert data while creating a measure or even changing the presentation on the fly is a gift. I have saved time by recognizing possibly harmful tendencies as well as finding what is good to the customer.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Excellent graphical user interface with several possibilities for visual customization and report and dashboard drill down features. Users can take free in-depth online lessons focused on their professional function in connection to Microstrategy. People of all learning types will find it very simple to learn. The documentation is simple and has just the right amount of detail. The main features of Microstrategy allow us to construct bespoke measures within the program as well as generate spectacular visuals. This saves time because no fundamental data processing is necessary for the best analysis.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Desktop software uses a lot of RAM, that is why we picked the Web version; there is also a financial constraint for small firms in terms of deployment. This makes sharing more difficult because separate live sessions must be arranged to share the visuals with the customer. Because there is less name awareness among colleagues who are not in IT jobs, it is more difficult to garner consensus among internal customers for usage on a larger or corporate scale.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Take it for a spin, when compared to its competitors, it provides the finest first impression of the program and does not disappoint as you drive. It is a user-friendly data manipulation system with multiple functional capabilities that can be used to adapt varied user data to different business needs.

A complete BI suite with multiple capabilities
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates MicroStrategy One Platform from other similar products?
MicroStrategy is a complete BI suite that, when implemented properly and with the proper team, will allow data governance, delivery, ad-hoc reporting, integrates with almost every data source existing, etc. This suite may require a good understanding of administration, data modeling and development to achieve goals. It's always a good idea to work with the vendor in initial stages to set a good foundation to build from. You will get the best results if you have a hybrid team that works with IT and business users as MSTR is basically in the middle of those two worlds.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Data import capabilities and MultiTableDataImport cubes are great for serving quickly changing businesses and ad-hoc reporting, while the standard modeling techniques will solve more static business needs. Integration with Python and R as well. Administration wise, once you do things properly, you have a very solid structure to rely on.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Pricing is maybe high for SMB. Knowledge base search engine is somewhat disappointing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Try to get a hybrid team comprised of IT admins, DBA, analysts and developers. Get training passes and do the certification paths. Work with MSTR consulting to set the foundations on your 1st implementation or migration from a different vendor.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
