Great for UI Prototypes and Dev Collaboration

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?

Collaboration with project manager and share the designs and mockups with the client. The freehand tools are awesome to use. The comment functionality is amazing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Simple stitching for UI screens. Anyone without experience can come on the app and build a prototype. It's that simple. Great way to collaborate and give feedback on designs. The InVision board was another nice tool that I used within the subscription. It helps create moodboards and collate ideas.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I faced a few issues with InVision recently. The new interface overhaul that InVision did, broke the design and usability. I wish they had not done that. With the new design change, the share capability became two steps longer and difficult to share with people without InVision account. Another big problem that I often face is that it used to log me out after every week or two. And, logging process of InVision also is not so great. Once, you log in, you have to navigate again to find the recent projects that you are working on.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use it primarily as a prototyping tool.

Invision Freehand convinces everyone

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?

Among the fundamental differences is its unbeatable aesthetics and its pleasant user interface with all the tools at hand for a UX designer. The order of a developer and a framework for a project leader. The customer gets a fantastic resulting product thanks to Invision Freehand.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

An image speaks louder than a thousand words and Invision Freehand knows how to do it. It allows tools that cover any type of project.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I suggest you pay attention to the time it takes to transition from a mobile device to a desktop computer as it is quite slow. In order to make corrections later.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Invision Freehand helps minimize miscommunication in the team and avoids the number of meetings we need because everything can be designed in the tool for the client.

It's already integrated into the Invision workflow

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What do you dislike most about this product?

one ends up doubling up on a lot of work and it's hard for stakeholders to remember where they made comments

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

there's actually a lot of other similar tools on the market now, including Miro, with very powerful features for the 'lay person' if you are thinking about integrating more non-designers into the design process
