The Clio platform does not claim to be a closed, proprietary system. Instead, it forms the basis for daily lead, customer, time, document and billing management, complemented by nearly 200 third-party integrations, with new offerings coming online every month. Clio offers unlimited cloud storage and IOS/Android apps that make all your company information, customers and documents available 24/7. It's incredibly easy to use and easy to learn. I use virtually every aspect of the software on a daily basis and have been using it for over 10 years.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Timeslips integration was easy. Integration with Law Pay was also simple and LawPay is the best part of the program. Clio offers almost complete case and lead management services. Their support staff is responsive and if you engage them in a conversation about your firm's needs, they are eager to listen and learn. Since I started using it, Clio has steadily expanded their offerings which are a real value add. Their annual conference is a great networking and learning event.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some of the features are confusing. Sometimes the way I format my subject columns changes and I have to reformat them from time to time. Also, I'm not sure how the issues are sorted in my open and closed issues, so I have to search for them, which is not as fast as I would like.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is easy to use and well thought out, it has many features, it integrates with many other software programs, it has very few bugs/bugs, the Clio team is great to work with, they are constantly improving the product, there are many Clio users, so lots of opportunities to collaborate.
Pros

What differentiates Clio from other similar products?
Clio automates tasks, minimizes paperwork. Streamlines daily tasks so you can get back to what matters most. Clio helps provide customer-centric billing that gets you paid faster. Accept online payments according to firm accounting rules, set up flexible payment plans and more.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Great if you have a simple setup; a few large billable customers who never pay upfront and you never offer a credit to or want to habituate an invoice format. Used by the entire strategy as the legal case management procedure. It is used to log calls, log emails, track deadlines, manage the calendar, manage contacts and generate documents.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The level of spam protection in the form interface for websites needs to be improved, lately we have received a lot of spam forms from people trying to scam the company or sell the company's services. It would be nice if there was only one login for Clio Manage and Clio Grow instead of having to login to both. Somewhat workable to have more control over the format of the invoices.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Clio management software is great for tracking your time at different paces, tracking issue budgets, and tracking expenses. Clio is also ideal for companies that want to implement and use technology in their offices. If clients are at least somewhat tech savvy, they will also benefit and enjoy implementing Clio.
