Service Levels

Each of our diagnostics is assigned one of the following service levels.
The service level is highlighted in the individual diagnostic descriptions.

Managed

Your project is fully managed from start to finish by a dedicated McLean & Company team consisting of a Project Coordinator and Diagnostic Advisor. You provide the necessary data, edits, and approvals in order to maintain the project timeline. Post-survey services include results debriefs and action planning support. 

Facilitated

The initial survey strategy, planning, build, and launch are supported by a dedicated McLean & Company Project Coordinator and Diagnostic Advisor. You are then trained on how to administer and maintain the diagnostic program on an ongoing basis. Ongoing technical support and results debriefs are included as part of the program.

Self-serve

You build and launch surveys independently through an online survey system. Surveys can be launched whenever they are needed - with our self-serve platform, you are empowered to launch surveys on your timeline. If you get stuck, technical support is available by email.

About Diagnostics

Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive. For more information, connect with your account manager.

Most diagnostics are available in multiple languages with the number of available languages varying by diagnostic type. If you require a language that we do not current offer, additional translations can be secured at an additional cost. If you'd like to receive the list of available languages for a specific diagnostic, please contact us.

All Advisory+ level memberships include 1 HR Organizational Alignment Diagnostic, 1 HR Management & Governance Diagnostic, unlimited Learning Effectiveness self-serve diagnostics, and up to 100 individual 360 Feedback surveys. For membership pricing or to confirm your organization's diagnostic access, please contact us.

For managed and facilitated diagnostics, we recommend starting the project with a Survey Strategy call. Strategy calls are intended to set the project up for success by talking through best practices around internal communication and attaining a good response rate. A scoping call comes next and is where the project timeline and logistics are finalized (Ex. languages, delivery method, # of participants, etc.). Next, the survey is built and tested, and once finalized, the survey participants are uploaded into the platform. The survey then launches and participants are invited to provide their feedback. Once data has been collected, the reporting data can be generated and analyzed.

For self-serve diagnostics, the survey can be created and launched at any time directly through the McLean & Co website. Users can choose their own questions, send the survey to participants, and generate results using the online self-serve dashboard. Technical support is available through email.

Diagnostic results are available in either report format, dashboard format, or both. Reports are generated as files (PDF or Excel) which can be downloaded and saved on your work device. Dashboards show the diagnostic results on an online survey platform where different data views are available. In some cases, reports can be exported directly from the dashboard.     McLean & Company provides diagnostic results in a way that is easy to interpret. However, we go two steps further by including three results calls and action planning calls* as part of the program. Results calls are intended to help members fully understand the outcome of the survey through data driven insights; what areas are performing well and where there is need for improvement. The action planning call is where insights are turned into actionable initiatives. Once key initiatives are identified, the process doesn't end there. Instead, we connect members with additional tools, resources, and specialists who can help them put those initiatives into place using our best-practice research.
