What differentiates Plex MES from other similar products?

Plex is manufacturing focused, which I believe simplifies code and functionality. The UI is intuitive. The Knowledge Center is very useful. The user community is responsive and useful, not just a link to a document to read. When you're selecting an ERP - you take into account your culture, your people, your capabilities, and your roadmap. Plex did make the process as we evaluated our needs and our current state, as easy as a transformational change such as ERP can be.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use for both the user as well as IT support. As long you have a strong implementation partner, you will be successful. Managing the implementation and normalization process was not without its challenges, but access to support and the intuitive nature of the screens for use and setup are true differentiators of Plex vs. other ERP systems I have used.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The inflexibility of some aspects of the system can be challenging - that is the nature of a cloud based solution. We have managed in this space. There are some features that as Plex has grown, one would think that they would scale based on different types of manufacturing. I believe this will come with some strategic focus. As Plex grows, I would like to see further growth in their customer service and response to challenges be enhanced. There has to be a more efficient method of getting good ideas considered for future enhancements.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My most important recommendation would be to partner with a strong implementation team. This is critical to your success. Find someone that you know that you can work with, that will challenge you to move forward with the system and processes that are more forward looking rather than trying to retrofit an old process based on the limitations of your previous system. Form a partnership with your customer success team and regularly engage with your Plex partner to ensure you are cared for as a long term partner.

What differentiates Plex MES from other similar products?

The content of connected modules from Employee Expenses to Multi-Level Consolidated Financials lends to driving an organization's costs down by eliminating legacy systems. It's a great whole package of opportunity that fits in nicely together and just keeps getting better year after year as Plex stays connected by listening to their customers as well as, staying engaged in the manufacturing sectors of their customers so we are ensured to be complaint in the market place to the latest standards of our customers.

Ease of Implementation, partnership of the product team to find and design well tooled solutions

What do you dislike most about this product?

Need better training documentation within UX and improved wiki like Classic had
