What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?
Its everywhere, we previously used Skype for Business, so naturally were moved to Teams, it took a while for the collaboration across multi vendors was integrated but this is nice & clearly differentiates the product and makes it great.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Integration & the ability to collaborate and share files through sharepoint pages keeping everything in one nice area, which you can connect directly to your onedrive allowing many people to work in a single space successfully.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is very buggy! there are lots of issues with the application crashing & there are minimal support logs to pull against, i agree that there could be many factors causing calls to crash etc. but the lack of tools & support we have to investigate this are bad. also pushing updates is a huge challenge as there are always problems in a multi-Device landscape that we have. many users face different and quite random issues. hard to manage.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You will likely benefit from using teams, it definitely out ways the negatives. however ensure that new features are pushed slowly and safely to IT devices first to ensure bugs are not discovered in production
