This tool provides an objective view of the extent to which your organization's culture falls under each of the four culture types (Competitive, Innovative, Cooperative, and Traditional), and which of the four is the dominant culture. It also provides the same overview for the acquired or targeted organization, as well as a comparison of the two organizations’ dominant cultures.
The M&A Organizational Culture Diagnostic Tool is divided into three tabs:
- Your Company's Culture Diagnostic tab: Fill in answers to 16 questions to illuminate your dominant organizational culture.
- The Acquired or Targeted Company's Culture Diagnostic tab: Fill in answers to 16 questions to illuminate the acquired organization’s dominant organizational culture.
- Results tab: View the results of both your dominant organizational culture and the acquired or targeted company's dominant culture to see if they are aligned.
The tool uses a series of questions regarding environment, policies, procedures, and behaviors for assessment.
