Use the IT Skills Inventory and Gap Assessment Tool to determine the following:

  • Whether your team contains enough people at the right (or better) levels of competency.
  • The skills needed to free managers from having to execute hands-on work.
  • The skills required by each employee to reach your target level of skills coverage.

The output of this tool is a training plan which will provide a list of employees who do not meet your required skill level. However, it is up to the individual and manager to further filter the list for training and development to decide who will focus on which skills.
