The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is accountable for providing the overall strategic direction and leadership for the IT department. This includes developing strategic IT plans that align with overall company strategy to reduce overall costs and promote business development; collaboration, communication, and relationship management with a range of stakeholders; and oversight of all IT operations and initiatives. As a member of the senior executive team, the CIO also actively participates in developing the overall business strategy of the company.
